First Annual Carp Derby

On Saturday June 1st, 2024 we brought back the Carp Derby to Baker Lake! Thanks to the VBRA Board Members, volunteers, and generous sponsors!  There were 76 registered participants, 5 carp & 5 catfish caught/removed, and over $800 in prizes awarded.  We were able to raise $300 towards VBRA's Lake Ecology Fund as well.  We are looking forward to hosting the Carp Derby again next year!
